Question 2000 Blazer LS ABS/Tranny

Is there any connectivity between the ABS and the Tranny on this SUV. The ABS light comes on and goes out and it seems it happens at the same time the tranny has a problem upshifting? In any event, the duo problems happened at the same time. (aiming head at telephone pole) help!

The modules do communicate, but I cant really see a connection with an ABS light and a shifting issue. Shifting is controlled by various sensors and the Powertrain Control Module (PCM). Theres always a possibility that the ABS issue is giving you the deception that there is a trans issue.
I would get it diagnosed ASAP. Get the codes and post em back here.
Hope this helps ya,
Billy
