My blinkers will work fine one minute, then not work at all the next. Nothing changes that I can tell, don't hit any bumps or anything. It effects both right and left signals. They will start working again on their own after a while, again, can't tell what makes the change. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

When they don't work, have someone check your brake lights. I am betting none are working except the center stop light. If this is the case, you need a new turn signal switch.

Basically the same theory as Gilly, except with a new twist.....
When they dont work, fiddle with the "HAZARD" or "4-Way" button.....The turn signals pass thru the hazard button, before going to the bulbs. this allows a left or right split, or full "4 Way " activation depending on the position of the hazard switch.
