1995 PARK AVENUE Serpentine belt
My 95 park avenue's tension pulley fell off and the belt was chewed up. I will need to get a new tension pully assembly but my main question is do I need to take apart any motor mounts to replace the belt? It looks like I might have to disassemble the motor mount to get the belt on uunless I'm missing an easier solution, like dynamite or something.

Yes the Moto-Mount must be dissassembled. Some guys remove the bottom bolt and slide the spacer out. Others put a Jack under the oil pan and remove the mount....Either way works, but I personally remove the mount. It seems to save the frustration of lifting the weight of the motor to replace the spacer.
Take your time......and be patient......It isnt that tuff...

Do I put the jack directly under the oil pan or under a specific place? Is the oil pan stron enough to handle it? I assume it's just to support it so there won't be much weight, correct? If I remove the mount, how do I do that? Two bolts to loosen? thanks

Yes, directly under the pan. A wooden block...
(2x4 about 8-10 inches long) is always a good Idea when working with structural parts, To prevent cracking or denting the pan.
If memory serves me correctly.....there are 4...One holding the mount to the body, and three holding the bracket to the motor.

I also have a 1993 lesabre and the belt is loaded with cracks. Looking at it it looks like I can change that without taking any mounts off or apart. Am I correct? Belt looks like it is very very close to mount arm but on outside of it.
