dash and running lights
i Have a 98 Nissan Sentra and when i have my headlights on, my dash lights do not turn on (speedometer, gas gauge, temp gauge and the lights for the fan speed and so on above the radio. Radio lights up..)and my running lights dont come on. When the break is pressed the brake lights come on. we replaced the fuse that said tail yet it didn't work. What is the problem and how do i fix it?

check all of your fuses first, just to be sure. if still no lights you might have a bad headlight switch, test the output to be sure voltage is coming from the switch, then you would have to start trouble shooting the various connectors to the dash to see if you have a power or a ground problem. for that you will need a wireing diagram of your vehicle.
