Car window off its track?!
I have a 1995 Mustang GT V8 and I need to get its drivers side rear window back on its track before the next rain storm. I know that this is what is wrong, because I can hear the motor when I try to roll it up or down and I can hear it trying to roll it up. I am really very good with cars, but I do not know how to get into the paneling in the rear of the car to fix my little problem. If anyone could help me out and tell me what to do once I get the paneling off I would be really greatful!

It pries off and snaps back on with plastic fasteners. The fasteners are probably brittle by now so you'll need new ones.
Go to the parts dept. at the dealer and look at his exploded views for door panels so you can see what you're up against.
The parts guy might print out the diagram for you so you can see what all is necessary to do this job.
If you don't care what the panel looks like you can probably refasten the panel with sheet metal screws.
This might be the kind of exasperating problem where the window stays on track for a week and then comes off again, because the problem is elsewhere and you need expert help in solving it.
Watch out for sharp edges on the cutouts in the door sheet metal (wear cowhide gloves).
