help with 1993 bmw 325I
i have a check engine light on, when I pulled the codes it came up with a faulty mass air flow, i have replaced the part with a new one. how do I get the check engine light to turn off with-out taking it to the dealer it has obd-1

Have you tried disconnecting the battery for about 30-60 mins? This often times resets the computer.

tried disconecting battery left disconnected for 24 hours light still on rechecked to see if had new codes no new codes and mass air flow code is gone but light still stays on
