89 Nissan Sentra no spark
I have an 89 Nissan Sentra with a 1.6 in it ., my ole lady was driving to work and the car died on her. She said it jerked alittle and then died, theres a weak spark, but not enouph to start it , any suggestions anybody out there. thanks your help would be much appreciated.

WEAK spark? That is quite subjective. One must really really know if there is spark, as to know whether to concentrate on gas or spark.
Explain how you know spark is weak?
If engine cranks over, it does not spin over extra fast does it? (which could explain a thrown timing belt).
Does this vehicle have a distributor?, or instead a crank postion sensor?

It has A dull yellow spark. The distributer rotor turns , but the car acts as if its getting no spark. It does turn over extra fast so ill check the timing belt. I was kinda hoping for something simpler to fix,like maybe the ignition module. but thanks for posting that up greatly appreciated.
