Catalylic converter
I was curious as how can you tell when you need to replace your catalylic converter. When I had a chev camaro it was hard to accelerate and idling was ruff. Would this be the same tell tale sign for each vehicle?

I believe rough idle and poor acceleration/power are good and fairly universal signs for the cat., as when a cat is plugged it increases the back pressure through the exhaust system (more restrictive on the engine).
