99 contour only has low speed for Air
Hello:
I have a 99 ford contour that last month only the HIGH fan speed worked and before I could get the part, the heat resistor, no blower speed worked.
So I finally did replace the resistor and the air (fan) works but only ont the low setting.
Any suggestions?

Very strange.
I'd say it is now the switch contacts or a broken wire but I don't see how one problem caused the other.
Re: switch reliability, I know there are recalls for blower switches catching fire, and this problem crops up every few years.
