Turn signal help

I have a 2000 saturn LS2 and my turn signal either does not work or works briefly.

Sounds like it could be your multifunction switch (your actual blinker lever). Does it feel any different when you activate it from before?

Does it act this way for both left and right signals?

Yes. Left and right behaves the same. The problem got progressively worst in the past month, i.e. the indcator would work for about 15 seconds before it switched off. Now it may work for 2 seconds or does not work at all.

Ok. Sounds like your switch lever (multifunction switch). Should be a fairly easy replacement. Just remove the plastic shrouds around your stearing column, and the lever should just be held on by 2-3 screws.

The part itself can run about $100-200. Might want to try a junkyard first.
