97 Chevy Lumina 3.1 thermostat

I am in need of a step by step guide on replacing a 97 Chevy Lumina 3.1 thermostat. Can anyone direct me to a link where I might be able to find one so I can print it out. My husband is having a hard time even getting to it! Your help is greatly appreciated.
