How to protect auto interior

I need some opinions please. I just bought a new Scion xB and would like to put something on the upholstery to protect against stains and stuff, something like Scotchguard or whatever. Thanks and have a good one. Geo

The dealer you bought it from could have sprayed "ScotchGaurd" upholstery protectant on it for you at the time of purchase for you if you had asked them and included it in the deal. . They still can at a price. Not really too much. Approximately 200.00 for the whole interior. There are many types of this protectant, however I've had good results with the ScotchGuard brand. If your dealer doesn't offer this service an auto upholsterer in your area would have this service.

Don't waste your money paying a dealer $200 to do this. All they do is spray on professional protectant from a can. This is a big money maker for them. Buy Force Field Fabric Protector and do it yourself. It just needs to be done every so often.
Here's one place to get it, but there are others:
