96 stratus ruff idle

HELP ME PLEASE!!!.1996 dodge stratus, runs great down the highway. at idle it spits and sputters and runs really ruff. i have replaced the TPS, IAC, checked for vaccum leaks, scanner says no codes, all plugs are hitting, compression is 160, im out of ideas and dont have much hair left. any info would be a life saver. thanks, jason

I bet EGR valve needs to be replaced. How many miles on car?

thanks for info, but i fixed the problem. i had replaced the timing belt and got the cam gears one tooth off.

1993 Ford Tempo Ignition Switch Problem

The ignition on this car has been getting hard to turn like as if I was using wrong key, but I tried a newer key with same results. Most of the time it is okay but it is very loose and one of these days it is going to leave me stranded. I have to be very careful as this thing has alot of play in the key switch. The same thing happened to my wifes 1990 Ford E-150 van. The Tempo has 190K original miles on it Is this a fix for a do it yourselfer? Or am I at the mercy of a garage. Thanks for any help you can give. Bill
