2002 chevy venture brakes

I need to change the front brakes on the van and I have done it on other vehicles. Just wondering how the calipers come off on these models ( my plymouth van has metric allen bolts) and if there are any special tools needed. Also, how does the rotor itself come off. On other vehicles I believe the rotor just slips off once the caliper is off. Would it be the same here. Thanks for any info

Did my Montana van several months back. Can't remember if the caliper boilts are 3/8" allen head cap screws or Torx bolts (my various GM's have used both over the years). Yes, once the caliper is off, the rotor will slide off.

On these vans, all you need is a 15mm socket and a ratchet. The caliper bracket is held on to the knuckle with 2 15mm bolts. The caliper is secured to that bracket with 15mm bolts.
