1989 Chev Astro van Electric Window Problem

I have a Chev 98 Astro Van and the driver's side window will only go up aways and then it will stop for a few minutes and then it will go againup or down. When I help by lifting the glass then it will go all the way.I beleive the window motor has a thermo fuse or thermal Breaker, but I don't have a Electrical Schematic only a owners manual. can you direct me to the location and advise what I'm looking for? well I am about to repair my passenger side window which clickes and sounds like a gear skipping. I would say that if you're haveing to lift the window it is a lubrication problem in the trac for the window, to the best of my knowledge they do not have thermo switches in the window motor. otherwise you probably have a small break in the motor that happens to stop it sometimes. does it always stop at the same height?

life begins when the kids leave home and the dog dies.
