1988 Honda Civic DX 1.5 SOHC

My horn no longer works. I've checked the fuses all of them. The horn fuse is #35 15 amp. Iwas told to access the horn itself I was told I have to remove the front bumper to access the horn to check connections or replace it. Thanks

You should be able to see it from underneath.

Looks kinda like this:

(Disclaimer - Stolen Image. Not responsible if the owner should happen to change content or prohibit HotLinking.)

Has one or two wires going to it and one bolt holding it to the car.
New one costs around $20 or less at the local parts store.

Test the old one first. Remove it and use an automotive test light to see if power gets to the leads you removed from the horn. (You'll need an assistant to hit the button.) If no power there, suspect the Horn Relay. (Possibly under the dash, possibly in the engine compartment.)

Apply power to the horn with test leads. If one wire, the bracket is the negative connection. If two wires, then they should indicate + and -.
