93 LeBaron Ragtop - Stutters - loses Power

My daughters car runs great for about 7-10 miles then seems to jerk and stutter and not respond to the throttle. She has to stop and shut it off and it starts again, but the problem returns very quickly and it's like she can't even drive it anymore except at about 10mph. My mechanic told me he had replaced the fuel pump when we bought the car and I've just had the fuel filter replaced as well.

Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Regardless of the work having been done, I would get a gauge on it and see what the fuel pressure is doing during the periods when it is stuttering.

1997 Taurus 3.0 Vulcan - #2 Misfire

Hello, Car started shaking in idle and you could hear in higher RPM that not all 6 cylinders work. I went to an auto part store to use their scanner and the code (only one code, thank God) that came back was PO302 (cylinder #2 misfire). I took that plug out and it looks OK, it is dry. Compared to another plug - no "out of the ordinary clues" on it. The ignition coil also looks fine, didn't see any cracks in it. Any idea where else to look/what to do before I head down to the mechanic (AKA - apply for a loan)? Thanks.
