97 Tahoe P1345 code

Replaced intake gaskets and didn't get the distributor back in correctly. Does anyone have a written procedure to re stab the distributor. I don't have a proper scanner to read camshaft/crankshaft readings. Engine runs fine hard starts when warm code will not clear.

have you checked your timeing with a timeing light? if it starts it should be close to correct.

life begins when the kids leave home and the dog dies.

I have not I was lead to believe 96 and newer could not be timed, a scanner was needed to set the camshaft/crank sensors +/_ 3deg. If you say it's possible I will look up settings and try it.

if it has a distributor you can move the timeing around by moving the distributor, not to say that you should because it should be based on crank sensors but if the base timeing is not right that would be your problem.

are you going to cowboy up or just lay there and bleed?
