2004 Suzuki Vitara A/C goes warm?
My A/C is usually ice cold when I first start out but if the weather is over 80 degrees the A/C tends to get warmer and warmer. Also if I shut the car off and restart it will gradually get warmer and warmer. Not always, just when I need it the most! Also there is an occasional sound of something trying to engage then disengage under the hood when the A/C goes warm? Any suggestions as to the culprit?

Your AC unit has a clutch that engages when you turn on the AC more than likely its failing. Sometimes if your AC is low on refrigerant the AC unit will go on and off, Have your mechanic check the clutch on your AC compressor.
