How To Replace Lock On 2002 Buick Century Glove Box

The latch broke and I purchased a used replacement. I need to change the lock cylinder from the broken one to the new one. How do you remove the cylinder?

Thanks

check the back of the latch cylinder if it has a screw insert your key and remove the screw then turn lock it should come right out, if no screw look for a small hole inthe end insert small dia drill or hex key to depress the catch, then pull the cylinder out. hope this helps.

Thanks, I found a hole on the side of the broken latch, installed the key and removed the cylinder.
The replacement latch doesn't have a key, how do I remove this one?

i assume you mean you didn't get the key with it. or do you mean it doesn't use a key to unlock? with no key you will need to pick it in order to turn it for removal.

Thanks, I didn't think there would be an easy way to remove the lock that is missing the key.

Appreciate your input
