when replacing the spark plugs do the coil packs need to be replaced and if not how do you tell when they need to be replaced it has the 3.2 liter v6 thank you

If you are just doing a maintenance tune up then the coils do not have to be or need to be replaced. The only reason to ever replace the coil packs is if one were to be bad. If you had a misfire problem then there would be a possibility that a coil would be the problem. IF you dont have any problem then theres no need to replace them.
