2000 buick key fob programing
Have a 2000 Buick Century. The key FOB required a new battery, now since changing battery the FOB will not work.
Looking for How To Reprogram. Any help?

Here is what it says in the 2000 Century owner's manual.
1. Stand close to your vehicle.
2. Simultaneously press and hold the LOCK and
UNLOCK buttons on the remote keyless entry
transmitter for about seven seconds.
There will be an audible confirmation when
resynchronization is done.
If the locks do not cycle, see your dealer for service.
