1995 Jimmy Multiple Error Codes

The Service Engine Soon light in my 1995 Jimmy came on. I had it checked with a code reader and it came up with the four error codes P0135, P0340, P0141, and P1406. Is there one thing that would cause all these errors?

I'm thinking the P1406 is your main cause, the EGR valve. It's mounted on your intake manifold.

Thanks for answering. I've read where a bad EGR valve causes symptoms like rough idle and bucking on acceleration. The engine is running fine.

You can remove the valve and clean it, and see if that fixes the issue.

Too add,

Check your alternator voltage as well. Maybe your modules are not getting enough juice. You should have 13.5 volts.

It turned out to be a blown fuse in the Engine 1 slot that apparently powers the sensors that were returning the errors.

Thanks for the update! Glad it's just the fuse. Now I'm gonna get you thinking, "Why did the fuse blow?".

When I was checking out the various sensors I found some electrical connections that were in bad shape. One was barely plugged in and another was thoroughly grease soaked. Unless the fuse blows again I'm not going to worry about what made it blow.
