Question Spark Plugs in 2001 Winstar

Have been trying to figure out how to get to the spark plugs on the back side of the motor on my windstar! Before I attempt to get into a mess ,I need some advice on how to get the plugs out in the back of the motor.I have been told in my life no question is a stupid question,if you don't know just ask and someone will have the answer,I sure hope someone will-Thanks in advance for your help!

They dont make it easy, do they?

I'm vagualy remember having to remove the wipers, the plastic bezel, and maybe even that metal portion where the wipers come down into. You still probably won't be able to see, but you will have better access. It will take a couple hours.

The newer the engine the more difficult and tighter.

Haynes manual should help.

Just did the plugs on our 91 Dodge Caravan V6, and for the rear bank I was doing acrobatics to get them, after removing the air cleaner assembly. I was faced with the same option, lift, or pull things.

Good luck, go slow, be patient!
