1997 buick century fob programing
Hhave a 1997 Buick Century and is unable to reprogram the key fob. Manual states to press and hold both lock / unlock buttons at the same time. no luck. any help?

Did you replace the battery in the key fob remote? If so, is the battery mounted correctly.
The manual says to hold the lock and unlock buttons for at least seven seconds. It also says that you may have to do this after changing the car battery, but does not say you need to reset the actual receiver.
