Ball Joint Grease Boot?

Ball Joint Grease Boot?
Just installed Lwr ball joint, '96 Camaro Z28, pressed in ball joint, then what i've heard is just put dust/grease boot over top of stud? The old boot seemed much more snug and tucked at bottom, fixed with thin metal ring. This new boot just kind of sits there, i imagine grease will find way out at entire bottom of rubber boot? No instructions in box, just what i'm reading on the net? PARTS ARE MOOG, IF THAT HELPS, DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY INPUT?
THANKS IN ADVANCE, SO MUCH!
Have changed strut and upper ball joint, sway bar link, & tie rod also, no problem, want to get the rubber boot right and be done!
(Its hard to believe that boot should have been pressed in with ball joint from bottom? I think it would tear boot? I wish Moog would give ya a small note in box?)

The boot just sits over the stud on the ball joint, after it is pressed in. Theory is when the grease comes out it will carry any dirt with it, thus keeping the joint clean.

OK, sweet, I wouldn't have thought it would be so simple!
I wonder if grease will get on the brake rotor more than before? We'll be sure and watch for that.
Thanks for the update, you guys are great!
