Replacing rear-main seal

Replacing rear-main seal
A friend of mine has a constant leak from the back of her motor. W/out lifting it up, it appears to be the rear-main. I am aware that it may NOT be, but i wanted to know how difficult it would be to replace and what are the specialty tools needed for the job. The vehicle is a 96 lexus sc300. If it requires the engine to be pulled then an estimated price for repairs would be fine. Thank you for your help.

Here's a link for a 96 Camry with the 3.0 V-6. That should be a close match to what you have.
