ford f-150 fuel pump slow
i have a 1994 ford f-150 and i have a leak in the back tank and the front tank will not pick up speed like the back tank would. also when i idle on the front tank, it will stall. what could be wrong with my front tank? could it be the fuel pump or the filter. could i switch the pumps from back tank to front tank?
also i was wondering why it would begin to vibrate at around 45 mph and not stop until i let off the gas. then after that it will drive fine. what could be the vibration?
open to any answers, or suggestions?

If it has an old filter, change that - just a maintenance item. Then with the tanks switched to the front one, check the fuel pressure on the rail. If if idles with around 40 lbs, run the truck up to the 45 mph, gauge attached and see what your pressure is.
If it holds the pressure at running speed, your pump and regulator are OK. However the way you described the symptoms and the fix for it, I suspect the filter, pump, or regulator will show a problem.
