Yesterday i was on my way home from the nascar race and my toyota corolla was making noise. i figured it was the muffler but didnt see anything wrong so i just kept going. I was going down my driveway (which is dirt) and sure enough, my muffler started dragging the ground. It snapped between the muffler and the exaust and the thing that holds it up is gone. I know that the thing that is supposed to hold it up is usually rubber, but it looks like this one was metal. Can i buy that piece and replace it, and just weld the muffler and exaust back together ( im short on cash) right now i have a wire hanger holding my muffler up but that wont last and it is too loud. I need help with my 94 corolla. Please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There are lots of aftermarket replacement and fix-it parts for exhaust systems, so you should be able to piece it back together. Not sure how successful welding will be; favorite phrase for welders is you can't weld rust
