2001 Nissan Sentra Deiver side Power Window
My driver side automatic window is getting very sluggish when going UP; going down is OK.
I want to open the door panel on the inside to see if maybe I can spray some WD-40 on the motor; but don't know how to take the panel off.

Spray some silicone down the window track then cycle your window up and down, then repeat the silicone. This should help lube up the track and free the dirt.
You dont need to take the door panel off. Even if you did, you would find it difficult to access anything.
