Post Mitsubishi Magna cruise control stopped working.

Hi,
The cruise control in my Mitsubishi Magna 2005 model (V6 sedan auto) suddenly stopped working after I had the 90,000Kms service done at the dealer. This is a major service where the timing belt and spark plugs were replaced. Could it be that a fuse is blown or a plug has been left disconnected? Prior to this service the cruise control was working at all speeds down to 40Kms.
Any ideas as to what I can check would be appreciated.
Thanks
Mike

Not sure if we have too many AU(?) members, but I found this forum that might be a bigger help. Fastmagna.com

They probably disconnected the cruise control cable to the throttle body trying to get to a spark plug. Check that out.

Thanks.

I will check this out on the weekend. Is this a mechanical cable you are talking about or is it an electrical cable? I have had a quick look and there does not seem to be any disconnected electrical connectors. Also, the cruise control assembly seems to be fitted directly to the throttle body.

hi there, sorry to dig up an old thread.

i have this same problem except mine was working fine and has just simlpy stopped.

the green cruise control light comes on but it does not work.

There does not seem to be a specific fuse just for the cruise control, is there any other fuses that would cause this?

if the green light is on chances are the fuse is good, other than that haven't looked at that particular system so not much help.
