spark plug wire order on chevy 4.3 v-6 distributor

I was in the process of changing the distributor cap and spark plug wires on my s-10 4.3 v-6 and pulled the wires off of the cap before I got them marked, I need to know the correct order to put them back It has the HEI Distributor

tow-guy is correct with 1 being to the right side looking at the engine...(don't ever assume that with the new engines)...cyl one is the closest spark plug to you....best way to know......on the distributor 1 is the closest to you just to the right....good luck

Year and 8th digit of the VIN??????
Must be a "Z" engine as the "W" and "X" engines (VORTEC) has that funky lookin cap with the plug #s stamped in it........
