Inspection ?
Just wondering how this works. When you go into a shop to have your vehicle inspected and they come back and say that this and this need to be fixed and you don't want to have the shop do it and you want to do it yourself what happens. I have heard that they pull the sticker off prior to inspecting it and then how do you take the vehicle away without getting in trouble if you get pulled over. Just wondering how you effectively do this. Thanks

In VA they put a failed sticker on. You had 10 days to go back and have it re-inspected for free. The only driving allowed during that time is to and from a repair shop. Not to work or to run around and find parts/tools.

i'm thinking in any state if the sticker is still valid they can't take it off....in NY if it is overdue you take the sticker..but if you fail safety you get nothing...if you fail emissions you get a i think a 30 day to run the monitors..def think it's 30...the 10 day is gone...this i know
