replacing 2003 buick lesabre lead light bulb

how do i get to the socket to replace the bulb. thanks. john kelly

You remove the 2 bolts securing the headlamp to the header panel. Then, you have to find a place between the headlamp and and the header panel to pry the lamp out. In the lower part of the fender, there is a snap fit ball and socket that secures the lamp to the fender. This is what make removing the lamp so difficult. I use a prybar, just gotta find a good spot to pry against. It takes some effort to pop it loose, so don't be spooked if ya gotta use a little force. Don't pry between the fender and lamp, damage to the fender and lamp will occur.

Usually the owners manual will have good directions for replacing the bulb.
