I recently had the fuel pump replaced on my 1999 chevy tahoe and now the fuel gauge doesn't work anyone have any ideas on how to fix it?

Who replaced it?

The sending unit is attached to the pump, so they might have damaged it while installing the pump or they did not connect the plug.

Fuel Pump Replacement

It was replaced last week by a mechanic. It reads empty, I assumed it was when I picked it up because they drained all the fuel out of it to drop the tank. But after fill up it still reads empty.
