98 Mustang GT wheel conversion
I have a 98 Mustang GT with 17" wheels and it is impossible to drive in winter. Will 15" steel rims fit over the rotors and calipers? I thought with 7" rims and narrower tire it would be driveable at least in the city.

Doubtful...Tire Rack only lists 17's for OE 17's and no plain steel wheels, alloy only. Package starts at about $1000 or so.
Pro's may know better, give 'em a few days to respond. Couple of Ford guys on here.

most likely not, in my experience most vehicles that come out with 17" or larger wheels the brake parts will not allow smaller wheels, you could do some measurement of the rotor and brake caliper to double check though.
