Dodge Durango 2004 brake pads

Hello guys thanks for any help you can give me!! I am a decent handyman and i will be changing my brake pads for the first time and i wanted to know if there is anything tricky about changing the pads on a Dodge Durango.. Thanks again gus for any help!!

Nothing tricky. Just have a c-clamp handy to compress the piston back into the caliper.

I put the old brake pad flat against the piston then put the c-clamp onto that to push it back in evenly.

no. just dont disconnect or damage the brake line. Just take off the two small bolts holding the caliper on. Leave the big bracket installed.

It will take you longer to jack and remove the tires then replace the pads. They just pop out and pop back in.

Thanks for the help it took me about an hour but i notice that the disc rotors were scratched badly but they will have to stay for a while. If you can maybe you guys can help me once i get some new rotors for it. Thanks again all and Merry Christmas..

Depending on how deep the scratches are, you could just get them turned (machine lathed) down. It usually costs about $10 a piece.
