99 Beetle blower doesn't work????
the blower for the hvac has quit working. I have ohmed the fan motor and feel that it is good. There is no voltage to the motor either when the fan switch is on. Also the a/c doesn't come on when the button for the a/c is pushed.
Any help for me out there?? Thanks ahead of time for all help.

Here is something that may help.
Since you stated you've checked the blower motor already, I doubt this is it, but it is the most common item I've found in my research this evening.
WikiAnswers - Air conditioning heater fan in your l999 vw beetle stopped working any suggestions fuses have been checked where are the relays
Just trying to help, and I apologize for intruding if you've already ruled it out.
Aces.

Thanks and where are other fuses and resistors?
I do not mind any suggestions. Thanks for the help. I looked at the link that you sent and it sounded like that guy had a loose connection at the blower. I think I have ruled that out since I unplugged the connector to check the voltage going to the blower. There was 0 vdc. I plugged the connector back in and it seems to be pretty secure. Thanks for the help though and please jump in anytime.
What about the fuses. I checked the fuse on the driver side of the dash for the blower but it was not blown. Aren't there some other fuses?
Thanks again.

Not sure, but I think that will be the only fuse. Check to see if there is 12v power at the fuse. You also may need to start hunting the resistor. If will be mounted somewhere up behind the dash. The one in my wrecker is actually mounted in the hvac ducting to keep it cool.

Check the item listed as "Fresh air blower". There are also a TON of other diagrams on the site, more than I've ever seen for any make/model. Must be all that German engineering. Yours may or may not match the diagrams exactly, but should at least give you some clues.

We tore out heater motor, resistor,etc--on One of the grandkids 96 Ford---we checked them all--nothing wrong w/ any of them. No blower.............
We sanded down the inside & out of all connectors w/ a small file.
The blower came on.................
It was 17 deg--------we were happy to go inside........................
