Loose belt, low fluid...or worn out pump?

Well, it appears to have a serpentine belt that is automatically tensioned. They make gauges to check the tension, but if you haven't had a new belt put on in 3 yrs or so, you could need one, and possibly the tensioner as well.

I don't know of a rule of thumb to check the tension. It's more about inspecting the ribbed side for cracks and chunks missing. If you see that, time for a new belt.

Any squeals or squeaks when you rev the engine?

No squeals or squeeks at all.. I'm used to hearing the belt if there's a problem.. Is there any easy way to check the fluid? It's hard as is to get to the resevour.. lol

Shouldn't be that difficult..I'm no expert though. Any garage, parts store or lube place would prob check it for free. Don't say yer having a problem, just ask if they could help you out.

You may need to get this looked at, I guess it could be a problem with the steering rack as well, but eliminate the easy stuff first.
