How to replace a windshield wiper motor on a 1992 Ford Taurus 3.0 liter V-6 engine. Also the location of the motor.

are you sure its the motor.
have you tried the fuse and the relay and the MFS multi function switch. the mfs try spraying wd 40 on the seam where the wiper controls turn, theres a small seam there.

I once mistakenly replaced the wiper motor on my truck. It was a little bit of a pain because I had to disconnect/reconnect the linkage. I later found out that I could have simply replaced the circuit board in the motor (it just snaps in). I think the technical name for it is the pulse control module. I ended up replacing just the circuit board the next time the wipers went out, and no problems since. I also fixed the wife's van wipers the same way. Circuit board only, and a 5 minute fix. The circuit board cost about $30 at AutoZone. Good luck.
