Remote Car Starter AstroStart Model 803

I have a Remote Car Starter,AstroStart Model 803. My car is a 2003 Ford Tarus. It has been working good for five years. This winter on especially colds mornings it will not work. After driving and heating up, it work very good. I took it back to the shop, and they sold me another fob. Same thing still happens. I would appreciate any suggestions,on what the cause of this problem is. Thank You

Sorry, not familiar with remote starters, but with it being affected by temperature I would be looking for either a relay or ecu (electronic control unit/computer) of some type that is malfunctioning. I am thinking it would either be in the passenger compartment, or under the hood.
