How is the control module attached?

My son's 93 Taurus died while going down the road. I had him check for spark. Found none. He purchased a new ignition control module and can't figure out how it is fastened. He thinks it riveted. I thought unlikely because of needing to replace it at some point.
Anyone been there, done that? How is it fastened to the lower part of the distributor assembly.

Thanks.

Just drill out the rivets. Modules hardly ever go wrong, so riveting them on is not out of the ordinary.

2 screws, 7/32 head. Takes a thin wall socket - I modified one with a grinding wheel to fit.
