Seat Belt not returning...

I have a 1998 Toyota T100. The problem, besides its age() is that the seatbelts don't go back into the wall when you un-buckle. Is there an "easy" way to get these things to snap back??

first extend it all the way and make sure it isn't twisted, if that isn't it then you will have to attempt to lubricate the mechanism. removing the covers can be difficult use air to blow out the mechanism and then lubricate with slick 50 or some other light lubicating oil usually dust from operating is what binds them up.

life begins when the kids leave home and the dog dies.
