99 grand 3.4l intake gasket advice on changing
1999 Grand Am Se
3.4l v6
140,000 miles
I have a 99 grand am that is leaking antifreeze. From the research I have done it seems to be a very common problem for the lower intake manifold to be bad. I would like any advice on changing the gasket. I have read thru repair manual and just wanted to see if there are any shortcuts or tricks when changing the gasket. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

For you I would recommend just following the manual. There is a short cut by not removing the rear valve cover and slipping the intake manifold out from under it. But you are going to have a hard time getting the pushrods out.
