Have you checked the inline fuse, or the fuse in the fuse block? How many fog lights do you have? If two, does one work and the other not? Unclear.

You've seen cars with only one fog light?

My Toyota's fog lamps will only light when the headlights are in the low beam setting. Don't work by themselves or with high beams or parking lights. Is the Nissan setup similar?

If one works, and one doesn't, you need a new fog lamp. The two are wired together.

Make sure the ground to the light is good. May have a separate ground wire be sure that's good.
