blower problem

I have a 97 plymouth voyager, with a 3.0 ltr. engine. It appears that when you turn the blower motor on for heat/cool via the 4 position selector switch, only the highest setting turns the blower on. The first 3 positions do not turn it on at all. Can anyone advise the places to start troubleshooting this and what it possibly could be. Thanks

It's the resistor pack. When it goes, you only have high (full voltage) to the fan. The replacement is not expensive and usually easy to replace. Finding it is the trick. It's usually near the fan motor with the resistor portion in the blower air stream for cooling. Follow the wires from the blower and they should lead you to the resistor pack.
