Question replacing a 2002 Honda Civic LX oil pan gasket?

I picked up my 2002 Honda Civic LX from the shop today after having the front struts replaced and was told that my oil pan gasket it seeping. They quoted me ~$250 parts & labor to replace the gasket and change the oil. I'm thinking that I can do it myself and save some money.

Is it as simple as buying the gasket, draining the oil, dropping the pan, replacing the gasket and re-installing the pan and oil filter and adding oil? Any experience and directions would be greatly appreciated....

Thanks!

I do not know the underside of your car, but I wouldn't be surprised if you had to take out a crossmember to gain access to the oil pan.
