need some help doing an axle

im working on this 98 explorer 4x4 still i have replaced the lower ball joint the outer tie rod and now i have to replace the axle. i have never done an axle before when i disconect it from the tranny what do i use to get it apart a prybar or is there something specific to use there arent any nuts or bolts holding it in except for the one on the hub. if anyone has any advice that will help me out it is most appreciated. i want this off my drive way. thank you mike

Remove the hub--(I believe there are 3 bolts on the inside face of the Knuckle) ...This leaves you a 7" diameter hole in the knuckle......There is just a Circlip on the trans end of the shaft. A moderate pry, with a "Snapping" motion , will dislodge the clip...pull the axle out thru the hole where the hub was.
