Angry Toyota Sienna 2001 model Heater Circuit Malfunction

Hello, my wife changed engine oil of our 2001 model Sienna today. After oil change "Check Engine" warning popped up on the dash board. She took the van to AutoZone. The diagnostic tool came up with "Heater Circuit Malfunction" with four probable causes.
1. Open or Short circuit condition.
2. Poor electrical connection.
3. EFI relay fault, and;
4. Faulty H02S12.

We donít understand much about this. Can any one please help as to:
1. Is this a serious condition?
2. Can we drive the van for sometime before getting it fixed?
3. Is it something an uninitiated person can fix himself?
4. How much approximately, it would cost to get the problem fixed?

It's just an O2 sensor. These things screw into the exhaust system, so was there a chance the wiring was damaged in the process of the oil change?

What was the exact code the scanner gave?

It's not serious, but you may get worse gas mileage in the mean time.
