Unhappy power window

I have a 2004 Grand Prix and the rear window on the passengers side will no longer go up & down. I can pull it up but it falls back down. I can hear the motor when I push the window button but nothing happens. I need to know how to remove the door panel so I can see whats going on in there.

You should get to a parts shop and buy a Haynes manual for that car.
The Haynes are a cut above the Chilton, etc.
I was able to do that exact fix on a Camry following the procedures outlined.
Be patient; you'll probably need a top quality roll of duct tape to hold the glass up while you do the work.

Haynes manuals are the way to go! You'll be able to fix this in no time.

Sounds like you have a bad window regulator. That is a common problem on Volkswagens with power windows.
